Job Title : territory Sales Manager
Department : Hi-Street (B2CI)
Reporting to : Reports to RM/NSM (Hi-Street)
Main responsibilities:
Meeting Sales Goals by identifying and selling prospects, maintaining relationships with clients, Motivation for Sales, good Territory Management, Presentation of our products to new customers, Performance Management, Building Relationships, Negotiation, Results Driven, Sales Planning, Managing Profitability.
Detailed responsibilities:
- Sustain the current volumes
- Support to Sales executive(s) to grow the volumes by covering additional shops in the same area.
- Grow through opening the other close by areas.
- Convince the distributor to open more routes by involving the line manager
- Evaluating market dynamics through marketing intelligence and develop innovative proposals for business growth.
- Organizing Customer visits on daily/weekly and monthly basis for self and direct reports.
- Ensure the account receivables as per company credit policy and reduce bad debts to nil.
- Develop strategies territory / zone wise to increase sales.
- Sales Interactive meeting weekly for feedback and designing future actions and strategies.
- Coaching and developing team and conducting team building exercises.
- Provide SKU wise forecast timely in order to manage shortages and reduce unnecessary inventory at Ware House (Plant)
- Sales target vs. sales achieved
- Gain number of new accounts, minimum 200 shops of a good sizeable volume.
- Team development through trainings & mentoring.
- Territory coverage and development and also identify untapped pockets and develop strategies to enter and gain stronghold in these areas.
- Controlling operating costs.
- Competitors activities monitored properly in the area and reports to RM.
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Bachelor / Master Degree
- 5-7 years’ experience within the field of Hi-Street / FMCG Sales
- Excellent interpersonal Skills and communication Skills
- Good writing competency / capability
- Proficiency in using MS Office
