Basecamp Data Solutions is looking for a PHP Developer for its Islamabad, Pakistan’s office to run and assist with WordPress and Moodle’s (Learning Management System) customization needs. The candidate will be required to assess client requirements and develop a delivery and execution plan to achieve the client’s objectives.

WordPress Requirements

• Building scalable websites using off-the-shelf code repositories or build-your-own.
• Integrate and customize plugins to achieve the objective at hand.

Moodle Requirements

• Designing and building enterprise-level learning management systems using Moodle
• Integrate with plugins when required, write scripts to automate Moodle routines and processes planning and implementing API integrations with third parties when required. 

General Requirements

• Analyze business processes, and user requirements to establish a delivery and execution plan. 

Job Requirements

Requirements for consideration include:

• High-level or thorough understanding of various Moodle modules and experience in customizing Moodle functionalities and developing custom themes for Moodle LMS
• Experience in LAMP stack. Linux, PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, CSS, HTML, AJAX, Apache, WordPress and Moodle LMS (preferable).
• Experience in integrating plug-ins and writing new plug-ins to extend the Moodle’s and WordPress’s system core features.
• 4+ years of working experience as a PHP Developer.
• User authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments.
• Experience with PHP MVC frameworks preferred.
• Experience with WordPress.
• Bilingual.
• Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Information Systems.
• Strong Interpersonal skills.
• Professional demeanor and attire.
• Able to work under minimum supervision.
