An ideal candidate must have Bachelors degree in Science or Engineering along with 3 to 4 years of relevant experience in industrial safety, preferably in a manufacturing or plant environment. NEBOSH IGC certification is mandatory. 

Safety Supervisor job role is to ensure a safe working environment by enforcing safety protocols, conducting risk assessments, investigating incidents, supervising the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and promoting a culture of health and safety within the organization.

Job Responsibilities:

• Supervise the contractual workforce to ensure adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) compliance for their assigned tasks.
• Conduct thorough risk assessments for various jobs and processes to identify potential hazards and implement appropriate control measures.
• Conduct detailed investigations of incidents and near-misses to determine root causes and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Regularly inspect tools and equipment to ensure they are in safe working condition and meet regulatory standards.
• Carry out safety audits and inspections of work areas to identify non-compliance and areas for improvement.
• Develop and deliver safety training programs for the workforce to enhance their awareness and understanding of safety procedures and practices.
• Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, risk assessments, and incident investigations.
• Prepare and submit regular reports on safety performance, compliance, and incidents to the HSE Manager.
• Coordinate and participate in emergency response drills and activities to ensure preparedness for potential emergencies.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement in safety practices by actively seeking feedback and implementing best practices.
