Shifa College of Pharmaceutical Sciences is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Instructor to join our team. You'll play a crucial role in delivering high-quality education, guiding students in practical skills, and contributing to a vibrant academic environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Teaching & Practical Instruction:

  • Deliver engaging lectures, laboratory sessions, and tutorials for undergraduate (Pharm.D.) students in your specialized area of pharmaceutical sciences.

  • Guide students in practical exercises, ensuring proper technique, safety protocols, and understanding of theoretical concepts.

  • Prepare and set up laboratory experiments, ensuring all necessary reagents, equipment, and materials are available.

  • Grade assignments, lab reports, quizzes, and assist in conducting examinations.

  • Provide academic support and mentorship to students.

• Curriculum Support:

  • Assist the Head of Department and senior faculty in the development and review of course content and teaching materials.

  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the curriculum to align with current pharmaceutical practices and educational standards.

• Laboratory Management:

  • Ensure the cleanliness, organization, and proper functioning of teaching laboratories.

  • Assist in maintaining inventory of lab chemicals, equipment, and consumables.

  • Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards promptly.

• Scholarly Engagement:

  • Engage in continuous professional development to stay updated with advancements in pharmaceutical sciences and teaching methodologies.

  • Participate in departmental seminars, workshops, and academic discussions.

  • Contribute to basic research activities or scholarly projects under the guidance of senior faculty.

• Administrative Duties:

  • Assist with record-keeping, student attendance tracking, and other administrative tasks as assigned by the Head of Department.
